About Us

Pro-Garante – Guarantee Society, S.A., is a 100% public capital financial institution, operating as a public limited company and supervised by the Bank of Cape Verde. Since its creation on June 15, 2018, under Decree-Law No. 32/2018, as per the provisions of Decree-Law No. 32/2018. Under the provisions of item 5 of Article 13 of the Statute of Public Manager, approved by Decree-Law No. 06/2010, dated March 22, in conjunction with the provisions of subparagraph b) item 2 of Article 14 of Pro-Garante’s Articles of Association, the composition of Pro-Garante’s Management Bodies was approved by unanimous decision on February 21, 2019.

Promote and facilitate access to financing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cape Verde with sustainability criteria, through the provision of guarantees. Our goal is to foster the expansion of this business sector and, consequently, drive the sustainable development of the national economy.
